The Plateau Cottage is a charming one-bedroomed Cottage with swimming pool, located just minutes walk from the Funchal City Centre. It is situated in a residential area, in the lovely grounds of a typical Madeiran Quinta.
This Cottage is in the perfect location for anyone wanting to stay in Funchal, without the fuss and bother of renting a car.
The Cottage is bright and freshly decorated with thoughtful personal touches, including hand embroidered bath towels. On the ground floor you have a modern well-equipped kitchen, a twin Bedroom and shower room, with WC, hand basin and bidet.
Upstairs you will find a comfortable lounge and dining area overlooking the garden and swimming pool. There is cable television, a DVD player and a portable computer with internet connection. The sofa can be used as a sofa-bed, and is suitable for one adult or two smaller children. A cot is also available.
The garden is beautifully kept and the spacious swimming pool area has sun beds and umbrella´s. Pool towels are also provided.
A “welcome basket” of basic provisions is provided, so you do not need to worry about rushing to the supermarket the minute you arrive. Heating is included in the price and a hairdryer is also provided for your convenience.
