Avenue Park Apartments: Location

The apartment block is located in the Avenida do Infante some 800 metres away from the very centre of Funchal (that is the statue of the discoverer of Madeira in the Avenida Zarco). It is across the International Madeira Congress Centre and less than 150 metres away from the Madeira Casino. It is also opposite the Pestana Madeira Carlton Park (formerly the Casino Park Hotel).

Two kilometres away one can swim in the famous lido swimming pools. Less than 300 metres away small boats, yachts, and fishing boats moor in the Funchal marina. Between the marina and the Avenue Park Apartments lies the Park Santa Catarina. One of Funchal's largest public garden areas.

Taxis and other transport facilities are dead easy to find and get. A city bus stop lies some 150 metres away. Many restaurants and shopping facilities are available near by. The Tourism Authority office is also located some 700 metres away.
